Langridge (Holyfield) Lake

Angling is available in the southern area of the lake. Large carp to well over the 40lb mark, plus a good head of Bream and Tench. Pike fishing in winter is always worth a go with some amazing fish to be had.

The section of the pit Luton members can fish runs from the east side of the weir round to opposite the aqueduct lock on the canal over the other side of the river, there is a fence marking the boundary (Fishers Green). A bridge has been constructed to the island.

Several well used swims on the pit show the popularity of this water and these areas are the ones where fish may expect the dinner table to be laid.

Night fishing is permitted.

The Close season applies on this venue (No Fishing March 15th to June 15th Inclusive)
