This fishery is very peaceful and well kept and offers just about everything to the river angler, Deep wide and slow flowing at the downstream end and narrower and shallower with a faster current at the upstream end with many species of coarse fish, some very large specimens can be caught in most swims.
The river provides very good pleasure fishing during the summer and the Chub and Perch show well in the winter. Perch of 3lb+ are common during the winter. During 2018 and early 2019 chub to almost 7lb have been reported.
There are about 45 pegs in total most have well maintained platforms.
There is a locked car park well away from public access and the venue is very peaceful and secluded.
A recent letter received by a visiting match group says it all....
"We fished a match at Biddenham yesterday, the most picturesque and fair river venue I have fished and immaculately kept. A pleasure to be there" Hanwell Prince of Wales Angling Society October 2016
