You must have a valid EA rod licence to fish any of our waters.
ALL LUTON AC WATERS ARE CATCH AND RELEASE - ALL FISH MUST BE RETURNED TO THE WATER. REMOVAL OF FISH FROM OUR VENUES IS THEFT AND POLICE WILL BE CALLED IF YOU ARE CAUGHT TAKING FISH
2023 Rule Update! ** THE USE OF THE OMC MAGIC TWIG IS NOT PERMITTED AT ANY LUTON AC VENUE **
No litter to be left in your swim, even if it was there when you started fishing. No glass bottles or tins containing bait allowed.
No fishing in overhead power line areas.
No dogs, BBQs, fires or firearms allowed.
Bait boats can be used with consideration for others.
Radios are only allowed with personal headphones.
No more than one barb on a treble hook
Livebaiting only with a single hook (lip-hooked) using no more than 8 silver fish up to 6 inches caught from the water being fished.
Baited lines in the water MUST NOT be left unattended as per EA Byelaws. Being some distance away with an alarm receiver is NOT acceptable
Only proper fishing shelters and umbrellas are to be used. No tents, tarpaulins, wind breaks etc.
Carp sacks or retainers/slings may be used for a short period of time(no more than 30 minutes) to retain fish for photographic purposes”
Unhooking mats and landing nets to be of an appropriate size for the fish being sought and the venue being fished. South Lagoon, carp and pike anglers – minimum 42” landing nets and suitably sized un-hooking mats).
No carp, zander, pike, barbel or catfish over 12” to be kept in a keepnet.
No wading to place baits allowed.
No braided line from reel to hook allowed. (There must be a mono/fluoro section, Nobraided hook links over 9” allowed).
Only two rods to be used
No matches/competitions without prior approval from the club
Entry to waters ONLY via official entrances – no climbing over gates or fences.
Cars to be parked in designated areas without causing obstruction.
No baits in, or fishing from “no fishing areas”.
No fishing whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Night fishing is defined as from 1 hour after sunset to 1 hour before sunrise
Members under 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult
This venue has no toilet facilities - go prepared if you must defecate please bag it and take home to be disposed of
Non compliance with any of the above may result in you being asked to leave the venue.
CLUB BAILIFFS WILL ENSURE THE RULES ARE FOLLOWED AND PATROL REGULARLY
